One of the many things we like to do is help to fulfill the wishes of our patients. Since they come in all ages, we are confronted with a variety of requests. For many of the children it may consist of dolls, toys, or even clothes. For the teenage crowd and young ladies alike, of course its always handbags, clothes and belts; and of course boys. For the teenage boys and young men, well now it really varies -- requests can very from “Game Boys” to a vintage car they would like to help restore. Therefore, in the midst of all we do, we thought we would include this section so that members and visitors can browse and if they find something listed herein that they might have and no longer want, but would like to contribute, they have the option to do so. If you do find something listed here that you would like to contribute, please feel free to send it to our office at Post Office Box 5084, Walnut Creek, California, 94596. For those larger items, of course you can send them directly to our office at 2080 Camel Lane, #9, Walnut Creek, California, 94596. It is important to remember that when responding to one of these requests, that you include the identification number listed below the item; that way we can insure that the item reaches that particular child, teenager or adult who has made the request. Please also keep in mind that although many State and Federal laws recently enacted to protect the privacy of each and every patient prevent us from revealing the identities of those we have posted the wishes for, we still encourage the recipients of any benefactor’s generosity to write a “Thank You” note to the individual who so very thoughtfully set out to fill their needs. In the event that we receive more than one of a particular item, we will notify the benefactor immediately providing them with the opportunity to return the item to them, place it on consignment with Heaven’s Helping Hands, or donate it for sale.
