Although we have been extremely grateful for the support and generosity of those in our community as well as throughout the United States and the world, each and every contribution is also “invested” back into our community. This includes our making donations to programs that the Contra Costa Superior Court has created to help children caught up in their judicial system as a result of a variety of reasons that include, but are not solely limited to, divorce. Too, we also give to our local police, The Walnut Creek Police Department, encouraging them to use these resources to help the children and families of those officers injured in the line of duty, as well as programs they have in place to support children in our community. Each of us that are employed with this organization do so without pay. We strongly believe that a non-profit organization should contribute at least 80% of its proceeds to the people for which it is dedicated, and not the other way around. And we insure that before giving to other organizations that are committed to helping children as well. Below are just two cashier’s check that we have donated recently as a result of the generosity others. We look forward to including even more; thereby hoping that we set an example for others to follow. Invest in your community and it will invest in you. Invest in material things, and you will have little to show for it when you most need your community’s help.
